The Tour of the Unknown Soldier[edit | edit source]
For discussion about this tournament see The Tour of the Unknown Soldier thread (September 2020).
Rules[edit | edit source]
A tournament challenge inspired by the Tour de France.
- Players will pick 2 buttons from Peloton to form their cycling team.
We will use the snake draft - players will pick first button in random order and then will pick their 2nd button in reverse order. - Tournament will be divided into 6 stages:
Stage 1: Iago - Bauer (16 sec)
Stage 2: Clare - Kublai (17 sec)
Stage 3: Avis - Niles (18 sec)
Stage 4: Kith - Karl (20 sec)
Stage 5: Stark - Hannah (25 sec)
Stage 6: Shore - Hammer (30 sec)
In each stage AnnoDomini will play the Soldiers buttons and players will play 2 games with him: one peloton button vs one soldier and the other peloton button vs 2nd soldier. - Players aim to get the best result in a standard game (best of five).
- Scoring
Scores will be translated into time gaps, to reflect general classification in cycling. Each stage will be given a certain time gap (example: 15 seconds). The best score is a 3-0 win and this score gives 0 time gaps. For each round lost players will be awarded 1 time gap on the stage.
3-1 win gives 15sec time gap
3-2 win gives 30sec time gap
any loss gives 45sec time gap - Button with best time will win the General Classification.
For team classification it will be the time of the worse button on each stage which counts.
The stages in detail:
- The tour starts from town Iago, named after a wizard who lived here long time ago, according to the local myth. Riders will have to cover 156km of mostly flat terrain, however strong winds towards the finishing town of Bauer, an old Indian settlement, may complicate things a little bit.
Winners of the first stage were Julia, Roger, and Antonio - The route goes around the terrains belonging to military bases. Riders start from the first base Clare and quickly dissapear in the woods, passing by the boot camp, shooting ranges and tank ramps. The route circles around the forest area for over 80miles before turning east to head to the Kublai base. Here comes the only difficulty of the stage: the final 12 miles leads down the old military road which is made of cobblestones. Bike handling skills and some luck to avoid puncture will be as important as the speed in that part of the course.
Winners of the second stage were Floriano, Julia, Julia, Doyle, and Mariusz - Stage 3 will start from Avis, a town of artists. It is known for the Ice Scuplting Competition held here in winter. Riders will cover exactly 100 miles of a rolling terrain and arrive to the finishing town of Niles, Ohio. This town was stuck by a tornado back in 1985, so expect some heavy winds on the final kilometers.
- Stage 4 brings an end to the flat terrain and will feature the first climbing test for the riders. After leaving the starting town Keith, situated beside the lake, riders will race towards the mountains with the roads going slowly, but constantly uphill. The finish is located on the top of Mount Karl. To spice up the party, there will be a 15 seconds bonus for those who climb the mountain with the fastest time, counting from the foot of the climb.
- Penultimate stage of the tour begins in a small town of Stark, which has only a few houses, but does have a train station. This is the shortest stage in the tour, roughly around 90 miles, but it is a tough day in the saddle for the riders with lots small climbs and difficult downhills. The hilly roads lead to the final climb of the day - Mount Hannah, so we will again have an uphill finish. Similarly to stage 4 there will be a bonus of 15 seconds to be gained for the first riders to reach Mount Hannah summit.
- This is a short stage, only 65 miles long, but it is a really tough one: riders will have to climb up the Hammer Peak (over 12000 feet) and then take a rollercoaster ride downhill through twisty bends and serpentines all the way down to the Shore. Those who dont mind a chilly bath can go across the finishline and straght into the water!

Movie Games: Star Wars[edit | edit source]
For discussion about this tournament see BM Movie Games: Star Wars thread (October/November 2018).
Plot
Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia face attack by the Imperial forces and its AT-AT walkers on the ice planet Hoth. While Han and Leia escape in the Millennium Falcon, Luke travels to Dagobah in search of Yoda to learn the secrets of the Jedi... secrets Luke will need when the Dark Side of the Force beckons him in a destiny-defining duel with Darth Vader.
Actors/Buttons
- Luke Skywalker - Phoenix (he has a light sword, doesnt he?)
- Han Solo and Leia - Buck and Cass (the action is on Ice planet Hoth, so those two buttons seem appropriate)
- Yoda - Elihu (this one is blue, as opposed to Yoda, who was green, but the ears and the stick fit perfectly!)
- Darth Vader - Darth Maul (the episode with Darth Maul is not that interesting, so lets use this button as Darth Vader)
Scenes/Games
- Luke is captured by a snow creature called Wampa.
- Empire launches an attack with AT-AT Walkers.
- Luke is trained by Yoda.
- Luke fights Darth Vader.
- Phoenix (player) vs Darth Maul (AnnoDomini).
- 3pts for a win.
However if player loses this game AND has lost the game against Yoda (ie Luke was not fully trained), it means Darth Vader convinced Luke to join the Dark Side. Luke becomes Evil Robot Luke and Scene 5 follows - Luke turns into Evil Robot Luke and strikes back at Rebel Alliance
- 2 Games to be setup: Buck (player) vs Evil Robot Luke (AnnoDomini) and Cass (player) vs Evil Robot Luke (AnnoDomini).
- Minus 1 points for each loss.
Ranking
This is mostly for fun, but we will rank players by points and by rounds record.

Movie Games: High Noon[edit | edit source]
For discussion about this tournament see BM Movie Games: High Noon thread (September 2018).
Setup
- Player picks Ferrer or Wallace to act as Marchal.
- Player may ask one of the townspeople (Porter, Smith or Tony (The Core)) to help him fight against the gang. Challenge AnnoDomini to a game, player playing Marchal, AD playing one of the townspeople. If player wins, that townsperson may later help the Marchal to fight against the gang.
- Fight against the gang! Challenge AnnoDomini to 4 games against the Four Horseman buttons (played by AD). Player may use Marchal to all 4 games, or play Marchal in 3 games and Lady B in 1 game or play Marchal in 2 games, Lady B in 1 game and one of townspeople in 1 game (if they were convinced to help earlier).
Scoring
The goal is of course to kill all 4 horseman. Player gets:
- 1pts for getting a help from the townsperson
- 2pts for killing each gang member
- 1pts if Lady B doesn’t get killed (she gets killed if she loses her game)
- Marchal can lose 1 game (he was wounded in the movie). If he loses 2 games he gets killed and player doesn’t score any points at all.
In the movie Gary Cooper managed to score 10pts :-) How about you?

Results
- gauen
Ferrer asked Smith for help and Smith agreed. Ferrer killed 2 gang members and Smith killd a 3rd one, but Lady B was shot by the last one.
- patches
Wallace asked Tony for help, but Tony refused. He then killed 2 gangsters and was wounded by the 3rd one, but Lady B helped him out with the last one and she won.
- Blargh
Ferrer first convinced Smith to help him, then shot one of the members of Millers gang and got wounded by the other one. Lady B killed one opponent as well, while Smith didnt help much in the end.
- irilyth
Ferrer didnt ask anybody yet... he finished late but he finished with a bang: Marshall lost 2 games which means he got killed by the gang.
- Kaori
Ferrer asked Porter to help him out but he didnt convince him. He then faced 3 gang members with mixed luck, Ferrer got wounded, while Lady B didnt manage to kill the 4th one.
- Scipio
Ferrer asked Tony but he didnt agree to help. Not only did Ferrer fail to get Tony's support, he also proceded to lose to all of the three horsemen he faced of against. The only "point" he managed to "get" (irrelevant because of his demise) was "protecting" Lady B, who actually was quite able to protect herself, thankyouverymuch, beating the very personification of War itself.

Cats Party >^.^<[edit | edit source]
Malachite‘s Girl Power announce a big party tonight for every team who wants to have fun while the main organizer is distracted with organizing the next race. It will be a singing/drinking/dancing contest between the ButtonCats. Always two contestants battling each other to see who‘s better. The result of this party game/contest will have no influence on the ranking in the race. Let‘s hope that nobody will have a too big hangover to attend the next race.

Race 4 - Utah[edit | edit source]
The next race was supposed to take place in North Dakota, but the organizers didnt live up to our expectations. Our insepction at the race track raised many questions about the drivers safety and we have decided to skip North Dakota this time and replace it with a race at the Utah Motorsports Campus.
The facility has a 24 acres paddock that contains 27 grand prix garages located along the hot pits, an on-site medical facility, five million dollar Club House, vintage car museum, and a helicopter pad (description taken from the track website).
I hope you now understand our choice :-)
The tiebreaker for this race will be the car result. I will create all games shortly. Good luck drivers!!!

Horse racing in October/December 2017[edit | edit source]
For discussion about this tournament see Gambling tournament - horse racing thread.
Rules
This is a gambling tournament in which it is more important to correclty predict results of other games rather than win the ones you are playing. Horse racing is quite popular among gamblers and people bet on which horse will win the race. In BM world we have 5 buttons picturing horses.
We will play in rounds and we need 5 players. Each round players will be randomly assigned a horse button. There will be another button selected which I will control and each horse will have to fight this preselected button ie play 1 game with me.
Every player starts with 100 coins and each round needs to bet for each of 5 horses if they win or lose their games. Minimum bet is 5 coins. There is no maximum bet, but player needs to bet for all 5 horses and can not exceed their total coins. To avoid losing in purpose there is a mandatory bet for a win with a horse owned in that turn.
If the bet is incorrect, player loses the money they bet. If it is correct player doubles the money. We will play 3 rounds and whoever has most coins at the end wins.

Presidential Elections Tournament #2 in September 2017/January 2018[edit | edit source]
For discussion about this tournament see Presidential Elections Tournament #2 thread.
Rules[edit | edit source]
In this tournament players select a button which represents a candidate for the US President and try to win the elections by visiting various states (fighting against 50 states buttons) and gaining electoral votes.
Players select a button from the list of candidates running for the elections.
Each button can be selected only once. Win % of the buttons is similar to average win % of all 50States buttons (49-51%).
Here is the list of candidates with a short description of their political views (just for fun of course)
Tonase | 51.04% | applying for re-election for the second term |
Twenty-One | 50.77% | a blackjack player from Las Vegas. He believes his bluffing skills will be useful in politics |
Dr. Jekyll | 50.65% | A psychiatrist. His main policy is to reform the medical care system, make hospitals efficient and friendly |

Tiffany | 49.48% | a former hairdresser, she would like to become America's Margaret Thatcher |

Spike | 49.32% | Spike is a head-hunter. He believes he is best possible choice for the president cause he knows how to make people work for him. |
Bang | 49.06% | Bang wants to invest in infrastructure and tourism to speed up US economy. |
Players will play games against buttons form 50states set. Winning a game means the button gains electoral votes from that state. The number of electoral votes for each state is given in the table below and corresponds to the win% of the particular button. I added bonus to the hardest states and to the easiest states to promote those who either go aggressive or go very steady (cause last time it was mainly the middle 50's states which were targeted). In order to facilitate the game flow, more than one player may win votes from single state and number of votes won does not depend on number of players winning them. The player who first gains 270 electoral votes (or more) wins the tournament.
The colour code shows if players already won (green) or lost (red) their vote in this state. If one player won and another player lost then the state will be yellow.

Indiana | 51 (+1) | Nebraska | 54 (+1) | Rhode Island | 58 (+2) | Wyoming | 41 (+8) |
Tournament will consist of rounds. When all games from one round are completed, we move to the next round. At the beggining of each round I will publish the list of current standings, basing on the electoral votes scored - for first round the standings order will be random. Each round each player will select 2 states they wish to visit (fight against) - there is no need to post the choices on the forum, only the game numbers. Player will then look at the current standings table and check which 2 players are direclty below them in the standings table. Those 2 players are the ones which player needs to challenge when setting up the games against the chosen states.

Hunger Games #3 in July 2017/January 2018[edit | edit source]
For discussion about this tournament see Hunger Games #3 thread.
Rules[edit | edit source]
1. Players pick a district from the list with pre-selected pair of tributes.
2. Tournament will consist of rounds, each round players will select a tactic for their buttons and announce it on this thread.
3. Possible tactics are: fight button X or hide. If you choose to fight you may name which button you wish to fight against. If you select to hide, you may hide successfully (free pass to next round) or face a hazard (play a game against random button from all buttons on the site) or be found in your hiding place by others, in which case you need to fight. Chances of each are equal (33%). IMPORTANT: Each round only some tactics will be taken into account. Chosing a tactic does not guarantee the exact event. Tactics fulfillment rate for Edition 1 was 41%.
4. Gang-up rule: it may happen than one button will play more than 1 game in a round. If several buttons announce their tactic is to fight button X and their tactics will be taken into account, then button X may need to face more than 1 opponents that turn.
5. Once all tactics are set I will use a randomized engine to set the events, will announce them on the thread and the games will be played. First player to read the post is asked to setup the game.
6. Elimination: losing button will receive wounds. 1 wound for a 2-3 loss, 2 wounds for a 1-3 loss and 3 wounds for a 0-3 loss. If button receives 3 wounds in total it gets eliminated from the tournament.

Hunger Games in February/April 2017[edit | edit source]
For discussion about this tournament see Hunger Games thread.
Rules[edit | edit source]
Background:
In Hunger Games Universe 24 citizens (called tributes) from 12 districts, are forced to participate in a battle to the death. If some tributes avoid conflict for too long the Gamemakers will sometimes create hazards to make for more entertaining programming or to steer the remaining tributes toward each other.
Lets try to translate this into ButtonMen universe:
1) Districts = sets. Players sign up, pick a set from the below list and then select 2 buttons from that set. I have chosen sets which are consistent skill-wise and where each button is from a certain race or group. Also I modified some sets a bit to reflect the above:
2005 Rare Promo, Brawl - Cat fighters, Brawl - non-cats, Brom (without Echo), Bruno, Button Brains, Buttonlords, Dork Victory, Free Radicals, Iron Chef, Japanese Beetle (both), Lof5R, Metamorphers, Sailor Moon 1&2 (without Shadow Warriors and Wiseman), Samurai, Sluggy Freelance, Soldiers (without Changeling), Tenchi Muyo (without Zero and Soja Guardians), Unexploded Cow, ZOECon
2) Ideally would be to gather 12 players but we may play in a smaller group.
3) Game will consist of rounds. Each button will play maximum 1 match each round and the losers get eliminated. So this is like in a KO tournament, but here comes the tweaks...
4) Each round players can chose tactics for their buttons. There are 2 options: fight or hide. This tactis will have impact on what games the button plays, but note it will be taken into account only for some buttons each round (selected randomly).
Fight - with this option player can name the button they wish to fight against. It is as if the button will try to hunt the particular opponent in the Arena.
Hide - with this option button tries to hide in the Arena and advance further without taking any fight. This is possible, but the gamemakers (myslef) will create hazards for such buttons. Button will need to play a game against myself playing a random button (create game -> choose your button -> random button). If this button turns out to be Fanatics (around 20%chance) then the hazard will be considered an empty hazard, game can be cancelled and button will advance to the next round without fighting.
5) Technically the round would look like this:
- Players write on this thread tactics for their buttons
- I select randomly for which buttons their tactics will be taken into consideration
- I announce opponents to buttons which selected fight tactic
- I setup hazard games for buttons which selected hide tactic
- I randmly assign events for other buttons and then all games can be played
- Once all games are completed I announce which buttons got eliminated and we play next round.
6) In the end there should be 2 buttons left to fight for the win.

Route 66 challenge in September 2016[edit | edit source]
For discussion about this tournament see Route 66 challenge thread.
Rules[edit | edit source]
Background:
Route 66 is one of the most famous roads in America. Originally it ran through Illinois, Misouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico (and Arizona, but there is no such button in the 50 states, so we skip this one). Players will take a truck and ride across the 6 states mentioned above. They will need to drive safely cause they will meet police patrols on their way and may pay a fine if they break a speed limit or a different law, specific to particular state.
Challenge:
Player picks a Drew's Truck button (2004 Origins set) and sets up games against 4 different states (played by AnnoDomini) from the 6 mentioned above. Those 4 states chosen will be the ones where player meets a police patrol. If player wins a game, it means they were driving safely and police let them go. If player loses, it means that they have broken a law and need to pay a fine. Fines are related to State strength (per stats from new site) – the fine for losing to a strong button is small and becomes much higher when player loses to a weak button:
Illinois | 76% wins | 115$ fine |
Missouri | 72% wins | 125$ fine |
Kansas | 42% wins | 180$ fine |
Oklahoma | 36% wins | 190$ fine |
Texas | 82% wins | 100$ fine |
New Mexico | 78% wins | 110$ fine |
The winner will be the one who pays smallest total fine and has the best rounds record (tiebreaker). The signup to the challenge is open till 12th Sep.

Ranking[edit | edit source]
1. | irilyth | 180$ 10/4/0 |
Kansas | Sir, is that your truck? It was left with its engine running when you were not at the wheel... Well, I do understand. You just jumped quickly to the shop for a snack, but here in Salina, Kansas, it is against the law to leave your car running unattended. Its dangerous, you know? |
2. | devious | 225$ 10/10/0 |
Illinois New Mexico |
Good morning Sir, I'm officer Collins, can I see your driving licence please? Its just a routine control... Oh, what do we have here - I see some air fresheners and fuzzy dice... Not sure about other states, but in Illinois it is illegal to hang obstructions from the rear view mirror, Sir. Not good, not good... |
3. | Hubbub | 295$ 9/8/0 |
Kansas Illinois |
Sir, you are probably wondering why I have stopped you. Here is why: I have not heard your truck's horn when you were entering our city. No, it's not that I like the sound of it - this is the law in Lawrence, Kansas. All cars entering the city limits must first sound their horn to warn of their arrival. They have similar thing in Illinois, where drivers need to contact the police before entering the city in an automobile. You were in Illinois and you didn't do that? Well, in this case it will be a double fine for you today... |
4. | ElihuRoot | 300$ 9/8/0 |
Oklahoma New Mexico |
Sir, is that a Superman comic I see there on your passenger's seat? Don't you know that it is against the law to read a comic book while operating a motor vehicle in Oklahoma? I am afraid you will need to pay a fine for that offence... |
5. | Kaori | 300$ 8/8/0 |
Oklahoma New Mexico |
Miss, you may not be aware of that, but in Oklahoma females are forbidden from doing their own hair without being licensed by the state. Do you have such licence? No? Then I am afraid I need to issue a ticket for that... |
6. | chechumaru | 305$ 6/9/0 |
Missouri Kansas |
Good morning Sir, may I ask why are you in such a hurry? You have burned some rubber when starting from those lights there. Unfortunately for you, here in Derby, Kansas, persons may not “screech” their tires while driving. Oh and I see in the database you have also a ticket for speeding in Missouri. Well well, two fines in one day - what a shame... |
7. | blackshadowshade | 420$ 6/10/1 |
Kansas Missouri Illinois |
I'd like to say good afternoon Sir, but I am not sure if it will be a good afternoon for you, I am afraid. I stopped you for speeding here in Missouri but I see you have violated some rules in other states, too, as my data shows. In Chicago you have been drinking beer out of a bucket while sitting on the curb - which is illegal there - while in Derby in Kansas you have hit a vending machine that stole your money - this was illegal, too. Let me calculate a fine for those offences... |
8. | Kortemaki | 430$ 7/11/0 |
Illinois Missouri Oklahoma |
Sir, our speed trap cameras have recorded that you have exceeded the allowable speed in three states - Missouri, Illinois, and Oklahoma. This is a serious violation and aside from paying a fine we will need to take your driving licence for one month. And please note that anything you say from now on may be used against you. |
Samurai challenge in September 2016[edit | edit source]
For discussion about this tournament see Samurai challenge thread.
Rules[edit | edit source]
Background:
The Emperor of medieval Japan is in a constant danger – his political opponents try to assassinate him and take his place. He needs to have a bodyguard, a trusted Samurai, who will protect him. You are that Samurai.
Challenge:
Player picks one button from the Samurai set to represent him and sets up three games against the following opponents (played by AnnoDomini), who try to kill the Emperor in various ways:
The Assassin | (from ZOE Con) | who tries to secretly assassinate the Emperor |
Iron Chef Chinese | (from Iron Chef) | who tries to poison the Emperor |
Horde o Ninjas | (from Hodge Podge) | who attack the Emperor when he is on the road, travelling |
Each round lost is a wound dealt to the Emperor, so the winner will be the player who wins most games and (tiebreaker) loses the smallest amount of rounds.

Escape from the Zoo Challenge in July 2016[edit | edit source]
Rules[edit | edit source]
Background:
It has been reported that some animals have escaped from the Zoo. Zoo manager calls for brave people to try and catch them. The next day a young man arrives at the Zoo and says he is ready to try to catch a few animals. His name is Torg. Zoo manager is delighted that Torg wants to help. He gives him the list of animals who escaped and asks to pick three – zoo workers will take care of the other ones.
The challenge:
Player picks 3 animal buttons from the below list and plays with Torg (Sluggy Freelance) against those buttons (with AnnoDomini as opponent). Winning a game means catching the animal. Each animal is worth different amount of points (relative to the button win %).
Winning a game (catching an animal) gives positive points, while losing a game gives half of negative points:

Beatnik Turtle White Tiger Cheese Weasel |
Next day Torg arrives at the zoo with a big rifle and a wheelbarrow. On the wheelbarrow lie the tiger and the weasel. "Hey, you were supposed to catch them, not kill them!" shouts the manager. "Take it easy fellow", says Torg, "they are not dead, I have only put them down. Used those sleeping arrows, you know. And here is also the Turtle - for him I didn't need to use the rifle. Call me when you need to catch anything more. My name is Torg, Ranger Torg." |

White Tiger Monkeys Cheese Weasel |
Next day Torg arrives at the Zoo in his pickup and gets out holding weasel in his arms. Few monkeys are jumping in a cage at the back. There is a large tv screen placed at the end of the car showing a movie about antelopes. "Here is the weasel and the monkeys", says Torg. "I have also met the tiger and he was following me, so he should be somewhere around..." - and in that moment the tiger jumps out of the bushes and tries to grab the antelope, but crashes at the tv and zoo workers catch him. "This was very clever", says zoo manager, "thank you for everything. Wouldn't you like to work with us? We need young brave people. I can offer good money. What do you say?" |

Next day Torg arrives at the Zoo with a tiger and a weasel marching on a leash behind him. "Here, Mr Manager", he says, "I caught those two. I saw the monkeys as well, but there were too many of them and they were too fast for me to catch." - "Dont worry Torg", replied the Zoo manager. "You did very well with bringing those two animals to us, we are very grateful. Will 100$ be ok?" |

White Tiger Cheese Weasel |
Next day Torg arrives at the zoo. He stops every 20meters and throws a bit of cheese and some raw meat on the path. Behind him walk a weasel and a tiger eating the cheese and meat from the dirt. "I tried the same way with the monkeys", he says to the manager, "but there were too many of them and my bananas ended quickly, so they lost interest and run away." |
6. | Hubbub | 2.5 pts 5/6/0 45.5% |
Beatnik Turtle | Next day Torg arrives at the zoo smoking a joint and with a shoe-box in his hands. He opens it and shows it to the manager. "This is a turtle", he says. "He was easy to catch, man - he started eating those leaves in me garden, ya know, some good stuff I grow there... So here it is. Do ya give me an award for that, or somethin'?" |
7. | SnowFox | 2 pts 6/7/0 46.2% |
Howling Wolf Bull |
Next day Torg arrives at the zoo, riding on a bull and leading a young wolf on a leash. Every few steps they have to stop because the wolf sits down on its hind legs and howls loudly. "Here they are, Sir", he says to the zoo manager. "Would you please be so kind to take over the howling beast. I'm almost deaf already." "Yes, of course", replies the manager. "This young wolf misses his mom dearly. The howling soon will have an end when they are reunited. And the bull you found, too? Great! Here, have a reward for your good work!" |

Game of Throne Challenge in June 2016[edit | edit source]
Rules[edit | edit source]
Here is the 4th from the series of my challenges - everyone is welcome to join. Just setup the games with me (AnnoDomini) and check if you can become the new King :-)
Background:
Arthur is the king, but he is getting older and several knights of the Round Table would like to take over the crown from him. Lancelot, Mordred and Gawaine are willing to become new kings, but each of them knows that he will need to kill the other two knights before fighting against King Arthur, so that they don’t trick him out and ruin his plans.
The Challenge:
Player picks one of the three kinghts (Lancelot, Mordred or Gawaine) and sets up three games (with AnnoDomini as the second player): two games against the other two knights he didn't pick and a third game against King Arthur.
- Player gains 1 point for defeating a knight and 2 points for defeating King Arthur.
- Player with most points and better win-loss-tie record will become the winner.
The signup for the challenge will be open till 18th of June 20:00 GMT. Everyone is welcome.

Ranking[edit | edit source]
Rank | player / champion | points | summary |
---|---|---|---|
1. | wembley_fraggle Gawaine |
4 pts 9/3/1 73.1% |
Gawaine won all 3 games. My dear Gawaine - said King Arthur - by defeating Mordred and Lancelot you have shown me that those whom I trusted should not have been trusted at all. You have always served me well and by standing next to me you have learned how to be a king. You can actually become one now. Congratulations!!! |
2. | Matt Lancelot |
4 pts 9/4/0 69.2% |
Lancelot won all 3 games. My dear Lancelot - said King Arthur - You are a great, brave knight. People of Camelot love you and you love them (and the king thought - yes, especially the female part!). You would be a very good king. I am getting older and will soon have no strength to handle all the king's duties. Therefore I promise you, let me just finish this campain against the barbarians in the North and next summer I will resign from the throne and offer you the crown. What do you say? |
3. | Kaori Gawaine |
3 pts 8/3/0 72.7% |
Won against Mordred and King Arthur, but lost to Lancelot. Gawaine has a decent chance to become the new king, as long as Lancelot is more busy with the ladies than with kingdom matters. |
4. | irilyth Lancelot |
3 pts 8/5/0 61.5% |
Lancelot won against Gawaine and King Arthur, but lost to Mordred. While King Arthur is considering whether to pass the crown to Lancelot or not, Mordred is already establishing a plan to ruin Lancelot completely before any celebrations begins. |
5. | ElihuRoot Lancelot |
2 pts 7/4/0 63.6% |
Lancelot won against the other two knights, but lost to King Arthur. Arthur keeps the crown and Lancelot needs to pledge allegiance or be exiled. |
6. | blackshadowshade Mordred |
2 pts 5/6/0 45.5% |
Mordred won against King Arthur but lost to both knights. Although King Arthur has been defeated, Lancelot and Gawaine will make sure Mordred is not crowned as the new king. Merlin can surely help them with some magic there... |
7. | Hubbub Gawaine |
1 pt 6/6/0 50.0% |
Gawaine won against Mordred, lost to King Arthur and Lancelot. King Arthur is grateful to Gawaine for defeating Mordred and breaking his vicious plans, but this is surely not enough to give him any new roles in the Kingdom, is it? |
8. | chechumaru Mordred |
1 pt 6/7/0 46.2% |
Mordred won against one knight but lost both to the other knight and King Arthur. Maybe his son will have a shot at the crown in 20 years time. |
9. | gauen Gawaine |
1 pt 6/7/0 46.2% |
Gawaine won against one knight, lost to the other one and King Arthur. Defeated by King Arthur he has no other choice as to yield to Arthur and go back to his previous role, as long as Arthur forgives him his arrogance. |
10. | yawetag Mordred |
0 pts 2/9/0 18.2% |
Mordred lost all 3 games. Some say in those last days of his life Mordred had gone completely mad: He was obsessed with the idea of being king. But that day when he rushed into the king's room and shouted "It's my turn to be king, Arthur!" he was simply out of control. He grabbed his sword and attacked Arthur but fortunately Lancelot and Gawaine were in the room as well and there was no other way to stop him than kill him. |
Soldiers vs Vampyres Challenge in May 2016[edit | edit source]
Rules[edit | edit source]
Background:
Vampyres have awakened and are attacking. Men Vampyres were seen in Detroit, while lady Vampyres were seen in Los Angeles.
A group of old army friends decide to face them and put them back to the coffins, where they belong.
The challenge:
Bauer, Clare, Hammer, Hannah, Karl and Kith are ready to face the Vampyres.
They decide that the ladies (Clare, Hannah, Kith) will go to LA to face lady Vampyres (Angel, Starchylde, Tiffany)
while the men (Bauer, Hammer, Karl) will go to Detroit to face men Vampyres (Buddy, Dunkirk, McGinty).
Step 1
A player chooses between ladies's group or men's group of soldiers and sets up 3 games, each with a different soldier fighting against a different Vampyre (played by AnnoDomini) from particular town. Player chooses which Soldier fights which Vampyre.
Step 2
Once those games are finished the player needs to face the last Vampyre, which is CountDracula. To face him player can choose only from those Soldiers who are still alive from previous 3 games - so the ones who won a game against a Vampyre. Therefore if a player lost all 3 games, they can not fight Dracula at all - their challenge is over.
Player receives 1 point for winning a game against a Vampyre and 2 points for winning against Dracula. The player who gathers most points and has better win-loss-tie record will be the winner. The challenge will be open for two weeks till 6th of June. Anyone can sign up providing that they finish the challenge by this time.
Have fun and good luck Soldiers!

Tenchi Muyo Challenge in May 2016[edit | edit source]
Rules[edit | edit source]
Plot background:
Kagato captures Ryoko and Ryo-ohki and imprisons in his spaceship Soja. Tenchi tries to rescue them and then fight Kagato. (I know it is slightly different to the real Tenchi Muyo movie, but it could be a possible scenario after the 5th episode and it better fits the challenge...)
The Challenge:
Step 1
Player picks Tenchi and fights against Soja guardians (played by AnnoDomini) in attempt to free Ryoko and Ryo-ohki.
Step 2
When the first game ends, player sets up 2 games against Kagato (played by AnnoDomini). Two different buttons need to be chosen to fight Kagato, as he is very powerfull. Cowboy Bebop Challenge in May 2016[edit | edit source]
Rules[edit | edit source]
Background:
Vicious plans some terrorist attacks in 3 cities on Mars. Spike picks up two of his companions and they fly over to Mars to thwart his plans.
The contest:
Within the Cowboy Bebop set there are 4 protagonist buttons (Ed, Ein, Jet, Spike) and one antagonist button (Vicious). A player picks up the Spike button (obligatory) and two other protagonist buttons and for each button creates one game against Vicious played by AnnoDomini (so 3 games in total). The first player to win all 3 games is declared the winner of the challenge. Each player may take only one attempt at the challenge. If 10 players take part and none of them wins 3 games, the winner will be the one who lost the smallest amount of rounds.
