Geeks is a parody set based on the convention goers of the time. It was illustrated and designed by Bryce Nakagawa who also illustrated the Catfight BRAWL decks.

Our first original characters, these two were inspired by the very best, and the very worst, of anime fandom. These buttons feature Reserve Dice and Iconic powers, not unlike the Sailor Moon sets published by Guardians of Order in 2000.
Geekz pack 2 is dedicated to those Goth gamers running around out there, LARPing at midnight with enough powder on to whitewash a picket fence. Let's not forget the ones who have professionally made, dental grade, vampire and werewolf fangs. (Those ain't cheap.) There's also the ones who wear more velvet and lace than Louis XIV, and enough leather to give a PETA member a heart attack. These buttons are just so… so… so Goth, they're completely shadow. We just had to give them Poison and varied swings as well."[1]

Geekz were intended to parody existing sets as sort of fanboy homages. Caine and Xylene were Vampires, so I cast them as goths. Sailor Man and Cammy Neko are cosplayers doing Sailor Moon impersonations. I was spending a lot of time at conventions so I was sort of inspired by the types of people you meet at them.
